Congratulations to a couple local breweries who won at the 2023 BC Beer Awards!
Loveshack Libations (Qualicum Beach) took home the award for Best Kolsch:
- 1st place in Kolsch with “Killer Kolsch”
Mount Arrowsmith Brewing (Parksville) won a couple of awards:
- 1st place for Specialty Wild Ale “Weekend Rambler 4.0”
- 3rd place in spiced beer “The Sprut Spruce Tip Brut IPA”
Twin City Brewing (Port Alberni) won BC Brewery of the Year as well as:
- 1st place in Hoppy UK Ale for “Tickity Boo”
- 1st place in Belgian Ale for “Nocturne”
- 2nd Place in Specialty Fruit Beer for “Out on a Limb”
