NANAIMO — Daily return service from Nanaimo to Vancouver and Kelowna has lifted off courtesy of Pacific Coastal Airlines (PCA).
The company launched daily direct service from Nanaimo and the two destinations on Tuesday, Sept. 12 aboard a 19-passenger Beachcraft 1900 aircraft.
“This aircraft offers passengers comfortable seating, a spacious 6-foot cabin height, and ample cargo capacity, ensuring a pleasant and convenient travel experience,” noted a PCA news release.
The half-hour flight between Nanaimo Airport and Vancouver International Airport’s South Terminal departs at 7:55 a.m., while the return flight leaves Vancouver at 2:55 p.m.
Service between Nanaimo and Kelowna International Airport leaves the Harbour City daily at 3:50 p.m. with a flight that lasts 55 minutes, while the return flight leaves the Okanagan at 5:20 p.m.
PCA announced the new service delivery in June.
